The UAE is hosting a UNESCO meeting to eliminate doping in sport

The UAE is hosting the extraordinary meeting of the UNESCO Fund to Support the Elimination of Doping in Sports, chaired by Dr. Reema Al Hosani, President of the National Anti-Doping Agency, as the first Arab woman to win the position, in the elections held in February 2020. It is the first time that the meeting will be held. Outside the headquarters of UNESCO, since its inception in 2008, as members meet every six months of the year to study projects and stand up for the implementation of programs, but the UAE will get an exceptional opportunity to host the meeting in the presence of all members.

Dr. Reema Al Hosani said that the meeting will discuss the proposed initiatives and approve support projects.
