UAE NADA Commences Work from Home

The UAE National Anti-Doping Agency shut down its office in Al Mamzar, Dubai to commence working from home for all employees until the end of March 2020. This decision came to curb the risk of the spread of COVID19 and an attempt to assist the UAE’s efforts in containing the spread of the disease. The Committee also urges all athletes to practice social distancing and continue to avoid any form of doping to maintain clean and fair sportsmanship.
Dr. Reema Alhosani, President of the UAE National Anti-Doping Agency, stated that “the decision of working from home is a precautionary one and is in place to ensure the safety of our employees,” she also added that “the decision was taken after thorough training of all the staff on remote connectivity and proper planning to maintain work continuity during this period of time”.
